Results of the 2008 Client Satisfaction Survey
For the second consecutive year, Genoma España has developed a client satisfaction survey in the effort to provide better support and services for all those recipients who have received these during 2008.
The designed satisfaction questionnaire collects the responses of recipients to the services and/or grants during 2008. It is made up of three distinct parts:
1) General Information Section;
2) Service Assessment Section with 11 specific items; and
3) Additional Comments and Global Service Rating Section.
The following outlines the results obtained with the 2008 client satisfaction survey:
- The population covered by the survey was 977 people from which 248 responded to the satisfaction questionnaire; this actually represents 25.4% participation.
- It is reasonable to suppose that most respondents of the questionnaire are researchers (66%) but also business personnel (15%) stand out as well. Among the rest of the respondents are post-graduates (5%), post-docs (5%), liaison office staff (2%), laboratory technicians (2%), biology students (2%), and head of institutions (2%).
- Generally speaking, out of the 248 respondents, 82% (i.e. 203) of these rated good or very good the services and/or grants requested.
- All services and/or grants made available by Genoma España have been praised satisfactory or very satisfactory by those who requested them as indicated briefly below.
